MOKELE-MBEMBE - SIGNED ART PRINT

EACH ART PRINT IS INDIVIDUALLY SIGNED BY THE ARTIST.

Mokele-mbembe is thought to mean “the one who dams up rivers/obstructs the flow of rivers” in the Lingala language. As with most cryptids, accounts of its appearance vary, but the most popular image is thatof a sauropod roughly the size of an elephant, with a long swanlike neck, greyish or brownish skin, and a coiling tail.

Like a hippopotamus, it spends most of its time in the water. On the few occasions it lumbers onto land, its stout legs leave three-toed footprints behind. In many ways, descriptions of Mokele-mbembe sound strikingly similar to early reconstructions of the world-renowned sauropod Brontosaurus.

The art print is in A3 format (29,7 x 42 cm / 11.7 x 16.5") and is printed on fine art paper, Munken Pure 300 gsm. The print is signed by the artist. Click the image to see the layout of the print, the print does not fill up the whole sheet of paper.
