Best Gift by Interest

For fans of Norse mythology and Viking culture

Norse Gods is an illustrated guide to the deities of Norse mythology — Odin, Thor, Loki, Freya, and dozens more — rendered in Johan Egerkrans' style. It draws on the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda while making the material accessible to modern readers. Ideal for anyone fascinated by the Viking age, Scandinavian history, or mythology in general. Available in both English and Swedish.

For fans of Scandinavian folklore and fairy tales

Vaesen covers the supernatural beings of Swedish folklore — the Näcken, Huldra, Tomte, Lindworm, and over 40 others. It is both an illustrated bestiary and a work of original research into folk tradition. The 2023 anniversary edition includes 12 creatures not in the original. Popular among readers interested in folklore, dark fairy tales, and Nordic culture.

For fans of vampire mythology and undead folklore

The Undead explores vampires and undead creatures from cultures worldwide — not just European vampires, but their counterparts in Slavic, African, Asian, and pre-Columbian traditions. A richly illustrated cross-cultural survey. A strong choice for horror fans and anyone who wants to go deeper than the mainstream vampire mythology.

For fans of dragons and fantasy creatures

Dragons is an illustrated exploration of dragon mythology from across the world — from Chinese long and Slavic zmey to Norse lindworms and Western fire-breathers. Johan Egerkrans traces how dragon myths developed independently across cultures. Suited for fantasy readers, tabletop RPG players, and anyone who grew up obsessed with dragons.

For fans of cryptids and unknown animals

Cryptozoology (upcoming) will follow the same format — illustrated survey of cryptids and mystery creatures from around the world. Available for pre-order.

For collectors and serious art enthusiasts

The shop carries limited edition giclée fine art prints — archival-quality fine art prints in editions of 99, signed by Johan Egerkrans. At 4,000 SEK per print, these are intended for collectors and anyone who wants a museum-quality piece. Once an edition sells out, it is not reprinted.
