Illustrations from the new edition of Astrid Lindgren’s beloved book Mio, min Mio (Mio, my Son). Bosse is a young orphan who lives with his nasty aunt and uncle. One fateful night, when he’s sitting on a park bench in Tegnerlunden in central Stockholm, he encounters a genie who whisks him away to the magical land of Faraway. He learns that he’s really prince Mio and that his true father is the King. But the land is threatened by the sinister knight Kato and along with his new friend Jum-Jum, he must face untold dangers before the evil can finally be defeated.
