Such a high-quality publication! I loved Johan's artwork anyway but with the textured cover, high-quality paper, background stories of the creatures and spirits it's immediately become one of my favourite books to flip through and enjoy.

A fantastic and well-illustrated summary of the more notable classic and traditional dragons. Johan's art is amazing, puts one in mind of Kidby, DiTerlizzi and Frazetta.
I was very happy with this book. I have lots of books about mythical creatures but not any of this more sort of sinister theme. The illustrations are fantastic, and the selection of different creatures for the genre is very eclectic.
