This fits right in between the other books about the norse pantheon. With the beautifull soft but dark illustrations its a treat to the eyes. Well written.

A lovely book. The images are great interpretations of the Norse characters. The text is a nice summary/introduction to their stories. The book itself is well made, from good materials. A nice addition to my bookshelf.

The book is exquisite. My spouse was very excited to receive this as a gift. The book arrived damp; I’m sure it had to do with the shipping company and not the sender. We were able to dry it in a few days and that didn’t diminish its enjoyment.

Love the illustrations and quality
The stories I know well are once again retold. Not in a particular spectacular way. This is more than compensated by the illustrations, the reason for this book. The might be overly romantic to many, they are to me every now and then, but they are gloriously beautiful in their romantic excess.
