Museum-quality poster  50x70 cm / 20x28" printed on thick and long-lasting matte (uncoated) paper. Paper weight: 200 gsm / 80 lb.

A kirin resembles a horse or deer with an impressive dragon head, and is sometimes also called a ‘dragon horse’. Its body is covered with shimmering carp scales, just like a dragon, and it has one or more mighty horns on its head. It is a good luck charm and appears as a positive omen before the birth of a future wise man or woman. In Japan it is seen as the most important of all mythological creatures.
The illustration is from the book Dragons.
